FAQ

Roofing questions we hear every week.

Don't see yours? Call (239) 402-6577 and ask a roofer directly.

Do I need a repair or a whole new roof?

It depends on the roof's age and how widespread the problem is. An isolated leak or a few broken tiles on a sound roof is a repair. Damage across several slopes, soft decking or worn-out underlayment usually points to replacement. We show you the photos and price both when both are realistic.

How long does a roof replacement take?

Shingle and metal re-roofs on a typical single-family home are usually a matter of days once materials arrive. Tile takes longer. Permitting and weather set the real schedule, and we give you dates in writing.

Do you pull the permit?

Yes. A re-roof in Cape Coral needs a city permit and inspections. We file it, schedule the inspections and hand you the closed-out paperwork.

My insurer says my roof is too old. What now?

Start with an inspection. If the roof has useful life left, a written condition report may be what your carrier needs. If it doesn't, we price a replacement and provide the documents for your agent afterwards.

Can you help after a hurricane or storm?

Yes. We tarp or dry-in the roof to stop further damage, document everything with photos and write an itemized estimate you can give your adjuster. More on our storm damage page.

Is the estimate really free?

Yes. The inspection and written estimate cost nothing, and there is no obligation to go ahead.
